Thursday, November 8 @Swedish Club in Seattle
Most of us like to think that we are doing good in the world. But sometimes we end up doing evil without meaning to, falling into dark patterns that show up in the design of everything from products and technologies to entire systems. Whether it’s social media leading to isolation, gamification leading to addiction, or freedom of information leading to fake news, our good intentions can have unintended consequences.
This year, World Usability Day is taking this on. Our expert speakers are doing cutting-edge work to redesign products, technologies, and systems for a better world.
Join us on November 8, 2018 at Seattle’s Swedish Club to learn how the practices of user experience design can disrupt evil and enable good in the technology industry and beyond.
