    • Expertise in current design practices and tools (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, MS Visio, OmniGraffle.)
    • Expert knowledge of HTML, XHTML, DHTML, XML, CSS, AJAX, and JavaScript.
    • Deep knowledge of Web semantics and accessibility best practices.

    About Bonanzle

At Bonanzle, we've created a marketplace focused on the type of items that people are passionate about: items that you can't find mass produced on Amazon, like purses, clothing, antiques, jewelry, memorabilia, and collectibles (we call our niche "everything but the ordinary"). The Bonanzle experience is one of the first, truly social sales experiences where prospective buyers and sellers can connect and having meaningful conversations on one-of-a-kind items.

Named the best eBay alternative in 2008 Bonanzle has been growing quickly and became profitable in 2009.  And in 2010 the accolades continued.  First, Bonanzle won the Seattle 2.0 award for ‘Best Boot-strapped Startup’ and then it took on a round of angel funding from a very prestigious group of investors.   Bonanzle is poised to become the next great online marketplace.  All that’s needed now is a few extraordinarily talented people.  Are you the next Bonanzler?

    User Experience Designer

As the sole UX Designer you will have a tremendous impact at Bonanzle.  You will work with the Chief Product Officer and UI Developers to craft intuitive and aesthetically compelling experiences that push the limits of your creativity. You will be responsible for leading Bonanzle in the design of new category-specific projects, as well as product features and functionality. Particularly important will be the ability to combine a high creative aptitude with constraints to create experiences that are not only easy to use, but also delightful. Our core company goal is to hire the best people possible, give them clear objectives, and let them flex their creative muscles without being micromanaged. We keep our processes to a minimum so you can keep your output at a maximum.
