About Us

Who We Are

Puget Sound SIGCHI is a non-profit local chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (www.acm.org) Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction (www.sigchi.org) serving the Puget Sound region's interface design, usability, and human factors research communities.

  • We invite you to our monthly meetings featuring high profile speakers from the local and national usability community, held the 4th Thursday of every month (except July, August, and December.) Past speakers include Steve Krug, Ben Schneiderman and Jared Spool. See the Events page for more past speakers.
  • Our monthly meetings are free and open to the public. Become a member of PS SIGCHI for enhanced benefits.
  • Once a year, we offer an all-day tutorial or workshop led by a leader in the field. Recent presenters include Larry Keeley, Innovation Strategist and co-founder of The Doblin Group.

Becoming an active member of PSSIGCHI means access to job announcements, preferred  and discounted access to the yearly tutorial and borrowing privileges at our extensive library of industry publications and conference proceedings. All this for only $20 a year!
